Route

There are several routes from Basel:

via Bern, Kandersteg (car train), Brig, direction Furka, sharp turn right in the direction of Ernen. The chalet is located on the right side of the road, approximately 100 meters before the sign of the village Ernen.
Via Luzern, Andermatt (car train or Furkapass in the summer), direction Brig, after Fiesch turn left towards Ernen. The chalet is located on the right side of the road, approximately 100 meters before the sign of the village Ernen.
Via Luzern, Grimselpass (only in the summer), than via Fiesch, see above.

By train

The international train via Bern stops in Brig. In Brig you take the MatterhornGotthard Bahn to Fiesch. In Fiesch you can take the

bus or a taxi to Ernen. Disembark at the busstop Aragon just before the town Ernen, the chalet is located 100 meters before the busstop.

By air

You can reach Ernen by air via Genève, Bern, Basel or Milan. From these airports trains will bring you to Brig on a regular basis. For the route from Brig, see by train. It is also possible to rent cars at these airports.
